We live in different societies, inhabit different climatic zones, employ different alphabets, use different tools, wear different clothing, celebrate different holidays. This diversity of cultures yields a multiplicity of stories about the world. Some resonate with us while others may feel beyond our comprehension—but all deserve to be heard. We believe in a world that empathic and mutual awareness and respect can change for the better. We are closer to each other than we realize, if only we come face to face. Learn about the lives of the individuals who shared their stories with us.
