The situation in the south of the country is dire! Because of the heavy shelling in recent days, more than 1,000 people died and 8,000 were injured. People are leaving their homes in search of a safe shelter.

Because of the conflict with Israel, more than a million people had to flee to save their lives. Among them are Syrian refugees who are once again fleeing war – many choose to return to their country even though the situation there is volatile. The crisis unfolding before our eyes is yet another blow to Lebanon, whose internal situation is already difficult.

Million people are now displaced and each day their access to food, water, and basic medical care is worsening. As the conflict escalates, the number of people in need of humanitarian aid is rapidly growing – if the two sides don’t communicate, Lebanon is set to slide into a humanitarian catastrophe of unseen scale.
