Polish Humanitarian Action (PAH) is looking for a Grants Coordinator to join PAH Global Programme Team. 

The Grants Coordinator will be responsible for the oversight and management of the grants development and donor partnership agreements on global level and supporting various grants development/management processes on PAH’s Country Office level.  The position will provide strategic guidance and direct support to the country offices on issues of proposal development, grants/sub-grants management and compliance, and donor relations. The position is based in PAH HQ Warsaw with travelling to Country Offices if required.

• Leading and/or supporting and contributing to proposal writing process with inputs from Country Office level Head of Programs and technical leads.
• Focusing on comprehensive business development and developing funding proposals, appropriate to the context and aligned with the country-level Strategic Action Plan.
• Coordinating and/or supporting cooperation with Global HOP, MEAL, IDR, and relevant technical experts, finance, operations teams, ensuring their contributions to the proposal writing process.
• Leading the component of implementing and monitoring the use of PAH’S Programme Management Tool.
• In collaboration with Global MEAL Manager, the Global Head of Programmes, and country level MEAL Coordinator and HOP to utilize needs assessments contextual analysis results to inform project design.
• Cooperating with IDR team members on monitoring major donor trends (policies, strategic directions, etc.) and funding opportunities through regular research and monitoring of information on relevant websites and/or other sources.
• Supporting Country Office’s program growth aligned with strategic priorities.
• Supporting aspects of the identification, appraisal, and mapping of partners.
• Interpreting donor solicitations and donor-specific rules and regulations to ensure a responsive and compliant proposal design.
• Reviewing proposals submitted to HQ Programs team for final verification before submission to the donor.
• Revise and/or support any project extensions, advising on needed revisions, amendments, and budget realignments, and including relevant approvals
• Support Country Office’s with negotiation of partner sub award agreements in coordination with the CDs, HOPs and relevant Country Office teams.
• Cooperates and/ or contributes to the work of Global and Country Office’s level program teams on developing, testing, implementing and monitoring tools related to quality program implementation.
• Managing analysis connected to quality of proposal developed and PAH’s project management cycle.

• At least 4 years of experience in the relevant humanitarian and/or development sector, with at least 2 years of field experience
• Donor compliance, donors’ proposal, report review and writing experience
• Prior grants or program management experience and familiarity with DG ECHO, USAID (BHA, other), DG Inpta, Humanitarian Funds, Polish MOFA and other humanitarian and development donors
• Higher education (preferred fields: international relations, social science, program management)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Fluency in English (C2 level), knowledge of Polish and/or French on C1 level will be an asset
• Attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines
