The south of Madagascar, including the Androy region, is facing serious humanitarian challenges: chronic droughts, food insecurity and limited access to basic services. The impact of climate change exacerbates these problems, causing even greater hardship for local communities.

The project supports sustainable development in Madagascar, focusing on climate-resilient infrastructure, community engagement, partnerships with the private sector, and improved child welfare. It promotes reforestation, school gardens, energy-efficient stoves and solar power to increase food security and reduce carbon emissions.

The program raises community awareness of health, gender equality and environmental stewardship, and offers business and agricultural training. By converting agricultural waste into animal feed and establishing insect farms, the project is helping to diversify income.

The initiative aims to support up to 20,000 people, directly and indirectly.
