Marek Stys has been working with People In Need (PIN) since 1999. About half of this time was at the overseas missions including Afghanistan, Iraq, Ethiopia and others. He has been opening number of emergency programs in conflicts and natural disasters, recently in Philippines, Nepal, Syria and Ukraine. As the Head of PIN humanitarian programs his responsibilities include leading the initial emergency response, emergency preparedness and capacity building, humanitarian advisory, networking and financing, and security. Since 2012 Marek is the member of the VOICE board.
