Forms of cooperation

Forms of cooperation with PAH

Your company can support PAH in various ways. Together with our Business Partners, we have developed over the years many forms of cooperation that account for the needs and capabilities of both parties. What activities can you engage your company in?

Strategic partnership

A strategic partnership is a long-term and ongoing commitment of your company to support the activities of the Polish Humanitarian Action. Thanks to it, we can plan our projects in the long term, and thus act even more effectively and reach more people with aid.

This model of cooperation is reliant on close contact at various levels of both organizations, joint development of project and communication solutions, openness to mutual needs whenever it is most necessary.

Hochland Company

Hochland informed about their support for Pajacyk as part of a marketing campaign, including customers in the help.

The photo shows a Hochland graphic that could be seen by people using the Warsaw metro.

Making a financial, in-kind material or service donation

The company can help by making a one-off financial donation or regularly donating funds to PAH’s statutory activities or specific activities. Remember that the company has the right to deduct a cash donation from the tax base up to 10% of income.

If you would like to make an in-kind material donation, please contact us in advance. We will then check the current demand for specific goods with our program and logistics team.

Communications and networking support

We are also greatly supported by the free provision of services such as translations, granting access to online tools and specialized software, typesetting and printing of materials, or the implementation of research that allows us to operate even more effectively. This allows us to redirect more money from our budget to direct aid.

You can support us in this by sharing advertising space you own or purchased earlier, informing us in your company channels about cooperation with PAH and sharing the content we have prepared in your internal communication. We are also open to joint media appearances on our cooperation and the implementation of marketing campaigns to raise awareness of the company’s involvement in PAH’s activities and talk about the challenges of the modern world.

You can also help us establish new relationships by contacting us with your business partners or inviting us to events where we can reach other companies open to supporting social initiatives with information about our activities.

Hummel Company and GKS Katowice Club

Hummel and GKS Katowice joined forces and worked together for the mental health of children. Unique T-shirts with the club’s players’ autographs were put up for auction on Allegro Charytatywni, the proceeds of which went towards the Pajacyk program

Loyalty programs and transfer of part of the profit from the sale of selected products

By including your customers in the action, you can strengthen your company’s image of a socially responsible company. Create a unique product with us or choose an existing one in your offer and donate part of the funds or a certain percentage of the sale to humanitarian aid. Contact us if you want to mark it with the PAH logo or prepare promotional materials.

You can also allow your customers to donate to our activities while shopping. Thanks to the cooperation with Donateo, we can support you in introducing such solutions in both physical stores and for online payments.

If your company has a loyalty program for its customers, you can encourage them to donate the collected points to selected PAH activities.

Company fundraising and double matching

We encourage you to set upcompany fundraiser on our Pomagamy.pl platform or create a skarbonka on Siepomaga.pl and double the amount collected as part of the donation double matching mechanism by the owner or management of the company. Invite customers and employees to cooperate and support PAH together as part of your campaign.

Payroll giving

Payroll giving is an opportunity for the company’s employees to donate salary tips to PAH’s actions. We will gladly preparewebinar ormeeting during which we will tell more about our activities to interested people.

Buying Christmas cards

Every year, we organize the sale of charity Christmas cards, the income from which we donate to our statutory activities. With this initiative, you will be able to thank your customers and partners for a full year of cooperation, while supporting those in need around the world.

You can also resign from sending traditional Christmas gifts to your business partners and provide them with information about the support provided to PAH. Contact us, we will support you in its preparation.

Employee initiatives

Involve people working in your company to jointly support humanitarian aid. You can choose one of the suggestions below or implement your own idea.

Create a company representation of runners and join the PAH Blue Team during the two largest running events in Poland – the Half Marathon (March) and the Warsaw Marathon (September).

Each of the participants registers individually as part of the Biegam Dobrze path. Registered people will receive their virtual piggy banks, into which they collect funds for the actions of the Polish Humanitarian Action. If you are an employer or a board member, you can support your team by donating the equivalent of their starter packs to employee fundraisers. It is also motivating to make an additional donation equal to the amount collected by all employees. Also let us know about your company’s participation – we will be happy to share this information on our social media!

Participation in charity runs is, above all, good fun joint with a noble cause. By participating in a sports event and supporting the Polish Humanitarian Action, the company sends a clear message that it is a socially aware brand and open to helping others. The event itself is also a great way to better integrate the team.

Integration outing as part of the Pajacyk’s Christmas Table

Go out with your team for an integration lunch to a place participating in the Pajacyk Christmas Table and together support the feeding and psychosocial assistance program for children and young people in Poland

Pajacyk’s Christmas Table is a one-day December action, during which the owners of restaurants, pubs, cafes and other catering companies donate 10% of their daily turnover to Pajacyk.

bp Polska

Joint participation in a charity running event is a great idea to integrate people working in the company. Teams of our business partners, including bp Polska, have been taking part in the Warsaw Half Marathon and Marathon for years, supporting our activities for access to water.

FAQs
How to establish a collaboration with PAH?

If your company wants to donate to PAH’s activities, all that has to be done is to transfer the funds to the appropriate account number. All the information you need to make a transfer can be found here. We can also prepare a donation agreement for you. If a business needs a detailed donation spending report, please email us in advance at biznes@pah.org.pl. Preparing a reliable donation settlement requires cooperation of several people, it is important that we can plan their work in advance.

We also encourage you to contact us if you want to establish a long-term partnership, if you want to perform pro bono services, to organize a joint campaign, a sales campaign or other, less standard activities. Together, we will develop an action plan that accommodates for the needs of both parties.

Do you accept in-kind material donations to PAH?

The most effective form of support for PAH is to make a financial donation – it allows us to finance the most urgent needs at a given time and purchase the necessary products as close as possible to the place where we provide aid. Thanks to this, we avoid having a negative impact on the local economy.

However, if your company wants to urgently make an in-kind material donation, we encourage you to contact us in advance. We will need precise information about what you want to donate – equipment specifications, quantity, weight or product names. We will then check the demand with our program team and the storage and transportation capabilities with the logistics team.

Can a company deduct a donation from tax and receive a certificate for tax purposes?

Yes. The company has the right to deduct cash donations from the tax base in the amount not higher than 10% of the income obtained.

Write to us at biznes@pah.org.pl if you need a certificate for your company. We will prepare a document for you confirming the amount of donations in a given tax year. Remember that the certificate can only be issued to the details of the entity making the payment, which appear on the bank transfer. We cannot issue a certificate for the company if the payment was made from the account of a private person.

Can I deduct from tax a donation made by my employer as part of payroll giving?

If you want to receive relief for a donation made through your employer, you should have:

  • A copy of the declaration submitted to the employer, in which you agree to deduct the ends from your salary and transfer them to the Polish Humanitarian Action. The document should include: your name and surname, the amount of the donation and its target, and the data of the recipient;
  • a document from your employer indicating your name and surname along with the amount of donations to PAH deducted from your salary. These can be, for example, payslips;
  • a copy of the transfer confirmations made by your employer to PAH’s bank account.

You can find more information about this topic here.

What does PAH spend the donations it receives on?

Donations from business partners allow us to quickly launch activities in emergency situations. Where immediate life-saving and health-saving aid is most needed. We are also open to working out the goal of the donation together with your company. We will be happy to prepare project proposals that will fit into its strategy and communication.

In addition to covering the costs of direct aid, a small part of the donation is used to finance activities that enable us to provide aid – logistics, administration or salaries of qualified and experienced people working in the organization. Thanks to this, we can act professionally, effectively and in the long term.

We care about transparency and the trust you place in us. Every year, we prepare detailed substantive and financial reports on our activities. We also summarize them in the form of annual reports (you can find them here). Additionally, we are subject to regular financial audits, both internal and external. We can also prepare a report on the disbursement of a donation from your company. Please provide a request for such a document at the very beginning of cooperation.
