WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

teams from Poland, East African countries, Ukraine, Madagascar and many other countries. This requires that our employees not only have good language skills, but also high interpersonal and intercultural competences. By this we mean, among other things, openness to dialogue and constructive criticism, as well as empathy and ability to adapt to changing circumstances.

We are looking for professionals who have experience working in the humanitarian, development and non-governmental sectors, as well as in a wide variety of areas such as finance, logistics, HR or accounting. Those working at PAH should be able to find themselves in an environment where immediate, firm decisions must be made, while scrupulously following procedures and delivering tangible work results.

Helping is a responsibility. Our work is guided by values such as humanitarianism, impartiality, neutrality and independence – we are committed to ensuring that these values are shared by our employees.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF WORKING AT PAH?

Working at PAH is a unique experience. We have been building our position for more than 30 years, conducting aid activities in many regions of the world. Our employees have the opportunity to learn about the specifics of working in the humanitarian sector, as well as a clear path for development and internal promotions. We focus on learning and improving our competencies.

Some of the positions involve working in our offices in different regions of the world. This provides a unique opportunity to learn about the specifics of working in cross-cultural teams in other countries.

Working at PAH is working in a friendly environment. We put respect first – not only towards the recipients of our aid efforts, but also within our team. We support diversity, value open communication and are also concerned about the welfare and safety of team members.

Marta Wawrzyniak
Programme Coordinator Kenya Country Office
Working at PAH means being part of an international team, where diverse experiences and skills can inspire me. It is also an opportunity for personal and professional development, as it enables employees to learn from each other and explore different ways of thinking.
Anthony Mutisya
Operations officer, Kenia
In my job, I can provide humanitarian aid to my fellow human beings. Every time we are in the field and receive feedback from our beneficiaries about how we have transformed their lives, it gives me more energy to continue with my job
Marzena Latek
Accountant, Poland
PAH is like a second home to me, where I encounter support, understanding, a fantastic atmosphere, and wonderful people. Trips to regional offices, face-to-face meetings with different cultures, behaviors, and languages have shown me that we are different but at the same time, alike. This is what motivates me to continue working at PAH, building my career and expanding my skills.
Andrew Glenn
Former program coordinator of financial support and food aid, Ukraine
The best part of PAH is the people. My biggest motivation, by far, is the drive to be of service to something bigger than myself. I worked in corporate jobs for years, and it wasn't for me.
